It is a coincidence that I spent the weekend with an old friend and service acquaintance of yours.
My cousin, Lt.Col. Sandra Duiker, attended the wedding of my granddaughter last weekend. I am sorry I didn’t know of your book at that time. I had just gotten it and hadn’t had time to read it or ask Sandie about it and about you. But seeing W.Va. National Guard in your jacket info was enough to email her and ask her about you. She just now replied that the two of you had served together many times over the years.
