The Magnificent Rescue
It’s been great to hear from all the folks who’ve enjoyed my World War II novel, Silver Wings, Iron Cross. Just to keep you updated, I’m working on another WWII story, tentatively titled The Magnificent Rescue. And it’s based on a true story. It’s inspired by Operation Halyard, the rescue of more than 500 downed Allied fliers from German-occupied Yugoslavia in 1944. Watch this space for updates.
When? When will The Magnificent Rescue be out?
Any chance there might be more Parsons and Gold in the near future? In the far future?
I am retired, a voracious reader finishing probably 5 novels a week. Crime, suspense, Mystery, Thriller, Military, and especially Military History. Every 7 months or so, I go back to The Mullah’s Storm and start the series again because my mind craves that thrill of adventure that no other book seems able to satisfy. What a supreme gift your writing is. Thank you for sharing it.
When or is the book out, I just finished Silver Wings , iron cross. Looking forward to reading The Magnificent Rescue.
Hi, Tom. Thanks for asking. (And sorry to respond so late–just saw your message.) The manuscript that was titled The Magnificent Rescue is out now, but under a new title. The novel was published under the title Red Burning Sky. All the best…
